KermitKermit is the founder of Campbell River Associated Tire and Auto. He brings with him years of experience, having been in the industry for several decades, first with his dad, and now with his son. Kermit’s commitment to Campbellton and Campbell River are evident in all that he does to support local organizations with both his custom built BBQ trailer and popcorn machine. Kermit is also an active member of the Campbell River Rotary Club. Kermit is dedicated to ensuring that tires make it to their final recycling destination, and not into local land fills. Associated Tire and Auto takes part in BC Tire Stewardship tire recycle program. Tire retreading is another way that Kermit helps increases the life of a tire, by replacing the tread on a tire, its life can be renewed. Kermit spends most of his time at work, but one thing is for sure. Once his honey do list is complete, Kermit can be found enjoying the races. If he’s not racing his own car, then he’s likely watching the speed channel, catching up on the latest races or chatting with fellow racers. This Bio wouldn’t be true to Kermit if it didn’t also mention his love of Vintage cars. A look through our photo album and you’ll see that he loves what he does here at Associated Tire and Auto. If you’re looking to fix or modify your race or vintage car, stop in and see Kermit, you’ll be glad you did.

BettyWe’ve all heard the old adage “Behind every successful man is a woman”. Betty makes it so. Whether she’s at the shop packing tires or sweeping floors, driving customers or picking up parts, at home cooking supper or out getting McDonalds for the boys at the shop, she makes it so Kermit and David can focus on the success of their family owned and operated Associated Tire and Auto. If you need a courtesy ride back to work, or to be picked up at the end of the day while we work on your vehicle, Betty will likely drive you.

Her role at Associated Tire and Auto is Administrative Assistant, she’s plays an integral part in ensuring that the rest of the staff can be efficient and effective at their job. When not at work, Chris enjoys to spend time with any of her 8 grand children. It’s no surprise that with that many grandkids, Chris enjoys to crochet, sew and do crafts.
